Triton Poker is known for their handful of high-stakes events hosted each year where the participation isn’t in hundreds or thousands, but the cash prizes are enormous. Just a selected few from around the world can afford these events and they recently completed a very successful outing in London where USA’s Bryn Kenney overtook Justin Bonomo to become the world’s richest man in tournament poker.
Now, Triton is hosting a few tournaments at Kings Casino in Rozvadov where the partypoker MILLIONS Europe series is also taking place between 4-18 August. Triton and partypoker have collaborated in the past and a few days back, Triton hosted the €100k Super High Roller where Turkey’s Orpen Kisacikoglu ended as champion after a heads-up ICM deal.
The 38-year old has been around the poker scene for nearly a decade and has live cashes across the world. However, this became his largest live cash as he took home €905,937 ($1,015,180) for first place as part of the deal he made with Russia’s Vladimir Troyanovskiy who won €844k for finishing second. Six players were paid out and they were all of different nationalities!
A lot of known names were in action in this tournament at the Kings Casino in Rozvadov including the very popular Phil Ivey and female pro Kristen Bicknell who now has $4+ million in live poker cashes. Simultaneously, the MILLIONS Europe Mini Main Event had also kicked off when Kisacikoglu was declared winner.
