Europe Fantasy Sports to be Tackled at SiGMA

The nation of Malta is all set to host the second edition of the European Fantasy Sports Summit (EFSS), which will be presented and produced by the GamingMalta Foundation. The conference is all set to be held at 2pm local time on 29th November, which is the second day of the ongoing Summit of iGaming Malta (SiGMA).

As per the agenda of the meet, this year’s EFSS is set to speak about Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), addressed to DFS providers, business owners and others who have interests in the budding industry. The conference will cover emerging issues surrounding DFS will give the audience plenty of insight into what the future holds for this fantasy sports sector in Europe.

Jeffrey Haas, Chief International Officer at DraftKings, is one of the most high-profile speakers for the event. He will initiate a debate on the challenges and opportunities that are available in the fantasy sports industry. Haas will also be joined CEO of FSport AB, Hampus Hagglof. The duo will conduct a panel session on emerging themes in DFS.

Hagglof commented on the meet, saying, “The EFSS provides a terrific chance for sports providers and operators to get together to discuss the topics at hand, and also for the audience to become fully informed on all goings-on in the fantasy sports sector during one session. We’ll be tackling how the fantasy concept can be applied to several sports, starting with American football and expanding into baseball, ice hockey, formula one, cricket, and cycling, among others. Furthermore, we’ll explore how fantasy sports fits alongside the standard offering of gambling operators.”
