FAU-G Pre-Registrations Available On Google Play

Ever since the ban of PUBG, a fan favourite in India, talk of a new and upcoming home grown replacement called FAU-G flooded the gaming community. The news got the gaming world talking and everyone waited in anticipation for its release. Now, the time has finally arrived, as the Bengaluru based nCore Games announced that pre-registrations for the game were available on Google Play Store while registration on Apple’s App Store have not appeared yet.

FAU-G has been the talk of the town since it’s announcement with many drawing comparisons between it and PUBG. Apart from the similar sounding names, developers of FAU-G have insisted that it has no intention of competing with PUBG in the Battle Royale space. The game as of now is a single player game with a possibility of incorporating co-op features in the future.

Those who have pre-registered will be notified when the game is available for download, while eligible devices will have the game automatically downloaded and installed. The game’s listing reveals nothing about the size of the download and other details about the version but gives a brief about the storyline and the gameplay. nCore Games took to twitter to announce the pre-registrations.

The gameplay of FAU-G, which is short for Fearless and United Guards, will be centered around Indian soldiers on the peaks of India’s northern border. The characters in the game will be called FAU-G commandos, who are an elite group of Indian soldiers patrolling the dangerous territory. The military-themed game is widely promoted as a patriotic game that highlights the contributions of Indian soldiers.

The game developers, nCore Games have collaborated with actor Akshay Kumar to bring this game to the Indian masses. The game hit many bumps along the road as it’s release date had been pushed back a couple of times due to various reasons. With the recent announcement of it’s pre-registration, the game is most likely scheduled for a December release. This is truly an exciting time for gamers as PUBG is also set to release in India very soon.
