SPICE announces agenda and website for 2019 Event

In February this year, Hong Kong listed company Eventus International held a sports betting and gaming conference in Goa, called SBGI (Sports Betting and Gaming India). The global event company specializes in gaming exhibitions and conferences, and with the legalization of sports betting in India seeming likely, they held this event, the first of its kind in the country.

The event was very successful, and the company wasted no time whatsoever in announcing the second edition of this gaming summit. However, it was re-branded from SBGI to Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference and Exhibition (SPICE), and scheduled to take place on 26th and 27th February 2019, in Goa again.

In a recent development, the company has gone on to announce the agenda and website for the 2019 event, and the announcement was made on the new website itself. The 2-day event will see participation from Indian and international experts and gaming operators. Tickets to the event are also available HERE.

There are a few confirmed speakers decided for the event, including industry experts like Ankush Gera (Founder of Junglee Rummy), Raj Kundra (Chairman of Viaan Industries), Sajai Singh (Senior Partner, J. Sagar Associates), Susan O’Leary, (CEO, Alderney eGambling), and many others.

Part of the event will be a discussion on latest developments in gaming, casino, betting and blockchains in Asia. One of the main points of discussion during the event will also be the Indian Law Commission’s recent suggestion on legalizing gambling and sports betting in the country.

Regarding the announcement of the agenda and new website, Yudi Soetjiptadi, Managing Director of Eventus International said, “We are delighted to unveil the agenda and schedule for our second event in India, SPICE 2019. The conference will see a panel of eminent experts speaking on a wide variety of important issues concerning the gaming industry. The discussions and deliberations which emerge from the summit will, I hope, shape the debate on regulating sports betting and gaming in India.”
