Season 3 of The Indian Poker Series (TIPS) is currently underway in King’s Casino at Rozvadov and the major attraction TIPS SPF Main Event halted with Day 2 and a small bunch of players progressing to the final day. The 8-day long festival will soon strike off from our calendars.

The entire Main Event pulled out 1,718 players which was enough to crush the advertised guarantee and create €369,062 in prize pool out of which the top 175 finishers earned a min-cash for their efforts.

With six starting flights on the list, the huge field narrowed down to 17 players. Day 2 of the ME was led by Day 1C chip leader Israel’s Mordechay Gaier who possessed the largest stack of 920,000. By the end of the day, a native player Yeray Perez topped the list, accumulating an impressive stack of 13,700,000. The Spaniard is followed by Ukraine’s Maksym Ryzhko bagging 79,75,000 chips.

The Main Event observed healthy Indian participation, a total of 7 countrymates started off Day 2 who unfortunately, couldn’t reserve their seats further. It was Himanshu Dewan who busted in 133rd for €633 (~INR 49,429) after his AT couldn’t dominate the opponent’s KK. Following him was Kanishka Samant who settled in 106th earning €633 (~INR 49,429), Jaydeep Dawer in the 47th for €1,010 (~INR 78,567) and Avneesh Munjal in 40th for €1,010 (~INR 78,567) also finished in the money.
