Adithiyya SB leads GameChanger 2.0 Day 1D

We're just in the second ever edition of GameChanger INR 2 Crore GTD - India's biggest ever online poker tournament. The first edition was hosted in February 2019 and was won by Prashanth Sekar after a 4-way deal. Last night, we finished the fourth and final starting flight of GameChanger 2.0, which created a record-breaking field on PokerBaazi.

The final flight attracted 1,210 entries, each paying up the INR 5,500 buy-in. The field was slightly lower what we witnessed in Day 1C but regardless, we went past the first GameChanger's overall field by a long way. A total of 4,796 entries joined the competition and with 116 survivors qualifying from Day 1D, we have 458 survivors going to Day 2.

However, a few of them played on multiple flights and the actual number of players who will hit the virtual felts of PokerBaazi later today is 431, all in the money today as the first to bust gets paid INR 11,990. The total prize pool reached INR 2.39 Crore which means that INR 40 Lakh has been calculated for the first-place prize!

This amount will be slightly lower than what Srihari Bang got paid out last month, winning the IOPC Main Event and becoming India's biggest online poker winner ever. Coming back to Day 1D, it was Adithiyya SB aka ‘Bezerk1’ who emerged as the chip leader, taking a stack of 397,719 chips forward after having fired 2 bullets.

Other known players who progressed from Day 1D include Sajjan Barnwal (295k), Rajesh Shukla (272k), Suresh Kolli (190k), Guneet Kwatra (187k), Akshay Nasa (138k), Chiraag Patel (119k), Zarvan Tumboli (101k), Siddharth Karia (88k), Ankit Wadhawan (83k), Varun Gupta (39k) and others.

Day 2 begins at 6pm today on PokerBaazi and by the end of the night, we will have a new GameChanger champion. Stay tuned to for all updates on the same!
