Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) is one of the most prestigious names in live poker in India and they are back once again, for another edition of the DPT Xpress (DPTX), where the difference is that you can play the entire series with a buy-in of just INR 35,000 if you fire a single bullet in each tournament.

The two previous editions of DPTX were hosted in Deltin Denzong in Sikkim but because of the inaccessibility and players preferring to travel to a location like Goa, DPTX comes to Goa for the first time ever, being hosted in Deltin Jaqk between 6-9 June 2019. Obviously, we predicted much bigger fields than the previous editions.

Right enough, the INR 5K Burn N Turn Event saw a field of 303 entries taking part, beating the 130 entries from the second edition in Sikkim. By the end of 24 levels of play, the tournament had a winner in Aditya Sardana, who is better known for being the Managing Director at Casinokart.

He bagged INR 3.65 Lakh in prize money and not only was this his first live title, but it also became the highest live cash of his career. Prior to this, he had only one live cash which he recorded back in 2017. Last night however, he was unstoppable, beating the field and eliminating 5 players on the FT including Priya Agarwal in heads-up.

Final Table Results:

  1. Aditya Sardana – INR 3,65,000
  2. Priya Agarwal – INR 2,50,000
  3. Archit Garg – INR 1,45,750
  4. Vijay Suneel Kumar – INR 90,000
  5. UNKNOWN – INR 70,000
  6. Abhinav Garg – INR 55,000
  7. Gaurav Mehta – INR 49,000
  8. Shubham B – INR 42,000
  9. Anant Purohit – INR 36,500

A few other tournaments have been scheduled in the tournament including the 10k Bounty, the Main Event and the Tag Team Event, so stay tuned to for all further updates.
