Ashish Munot leads survivors from BLT 3 Day 1A
The excitement is rising among the Indian poker industry as Baadshah Gaming is all set to host the third edition of their live poker series on board the Casino Pride in Goa. This time, they decided to host the first starting flight of the INR 35,000 Main Event online before the rest of the tournament is conducted in Goa between 4-8 October 2018.
Day 1A of Baadshah Live Tournament 3 took place yesterday, 23 September, and a few of the best players of the night bagged up their chips and will fly to Goa to continue on Day 2 of the Main Event. A whole lot of satellite events were being held on Baadshah Gaming in the build up to the tournament over the last week and more.
For those who wanted to buy a seat into the tournament, they had to cough up INR 35,000 to enter, and a total of 26 entries registered last night, from which 7 players have progressed to Day 2. Leading the chip counts after Day 1A is Ashish Munot, who has qualified with 279,668 in chips.
Guneet Kwatra and Sahil Mahboobani were other top pros to make it through to Day 2, while Baadshah Gaming CEO Madhav Gupta also made it through with 33,966 in chips. Shuchi Chamaria is one to watch out for in Goa. She is an upcoming player who has training from the one and only Aditya 'Intervention' Agarwal, who happens to be her husband! Day 1A was played out till the end of level 14. The survivors will continue on Day 2 in Goa, where the blinds will resume from Level 15 and these seven will meet the survivors from Day 1B and 1C on 7th October.
