Barsha Jain tops stacks on Value Bomb Day 1B
After the success of Game Changer INR 2 Crore GTD, PokerBaazi soon decided to host another high value multi-day tournament called Value Bomb INR 1 Crore GTD. Wondering why they're calling it India's biggest high-value tournament? Well, it's only because you can be a part of this massive prize pool with a buy-in of only INR 2,500.
Four flights have been scheduled between 5-8 June before Day 2 takes place on 9th June. On Day 1A, it was Siddhanth Kapoor who bagged the chip lead, coming out on top of the field of 700+ entries which narrowed down to 67 by the end of the specified levels of play.
Similarly, Day 1B was played out yesterday on PokerBaazi, beginning at 7pm and ending at midnight. A similar field was seen, this time 717 entries registered and by the time play halted for the day, it was Barsha Jain aka 'sonaa' who took the chip lead into Day 2, leading 69 survivors. The total field going to Day 2 is now at 136 players.
Jain hasn't won big on PokerBaazi for the first time, having also won a PPL title in April. Here, the player progresses with a massive stack, being the only one to progress with 600k+ in this flight. Sahil Agarwal (19th), Guneet Kwatra (20th), Jasven Saigal (27th), Rajat Sharma (40th), Jaydeep Dawer (64th) and others were among those to progress too.
