Guruprasad Gupta is Baazi's Moneymaker 4.0 Champion
Online poker is slowly on the rise in India and many of the top poker websites are currently hosting huge competitions with massive guaranteed prizes up for grabs. One such tournament is PokerBaazi's Moneymaker, which offers an INR 1 crore guarantee, as well as an INR 30 lakh GTD to the first-place finisher.
After three successful editions of the tournament in the past, PokerBaazi decided to host Moneymaker 4.0 on 4th March 2018. The third edition of the Moneymaker took place on 26th January 2018, which included a total of 734 unique entries and 430 re-entries, and was won by Priyadarshi Rajnish. Moneymaker 4.0 concluded earlier today and was won by poker pro Guruprasad Gupta.
The tournament began at 6pm on 4th March and wound up by 3:40 am the next morning, running for nearly 10 hours. With a total of 659 entries and 497 re-entries, the guarantee of INR 1 crore was beaten, and the total prizepool was taken up to INR 1,15,60,000. Guruprasad beat 1,156 entries to win and secure the top prize of INR 30 lakhs!
The INR 11,000 buy-in event is said to be one of the biggest online poker tournaments in India and Guruprasad became the fourth winner of this competition, playing under the username 'fish_calling'. He beat 'PokerKeeda11' in heads up, who walked away with a second-place prize of INR 16,76,200. A total of 72 places were paid out by PokerBaazi.

How do you feel about shipping this major tournament?
It's an awesome feeling; a feeling like touching the sky. Moneymaker is one of the best and a major tournament of India. Winning the tournament is a dream of any Indian poker player, so I am very happy with this win.
Any plans on what you're going to do with this money?
Half of this prize money will be used as bankroll for my future poker journey, while the other half will go towards my future dream home.
