Kahle Burns leads Day 1B of the WSOPE Main Event

Already shipping 2 tournaments this week, Kahle Burns is now shining among the top names in the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Main Event running at King’s Casino, Rozvadov. The tour wrapped up multiple events with various bracelet winners and the Australian pro has decided not to back down.

The entire series has been a great success with yesterday already in the books after concluding Day 1B of Event #14: €10,350 Main Event No-Limit Hold'em. The second flight saw another 252 entries, each chipping in the €10,350 buy-in. A few intense hours of grinding saw 166 players progressing to Day 2. After taking down Event #8 Platinum High Roller NLH followed by Event #13 Short Deck NLH, Burns topped the field here too, amassing 497,000 chips.

Behind the Australian pro was Martin Winkler with 461,300 chips and the 3rd in the list was Robert Skopalik with 381,600 chips lifting their heavy bags to the next day. Other notable bracelet winners in the tournament were Rifat Palevic (293,400), Jan-Peter Jachtmann (288,000), Jeff Madsen (262,600), Joao Vieira (240,000), Daniel Negreanu (167,600) and the recent Event #4: Super High Roller champion James Chen (39,800).

Many familiar faces who gave a shot in the Main Event were 10-time bracelet winner Phil Ivey, 2019 WSOPE Event #1 Opener winner  Renat Bohdanov, Event #10 Mixed Game Championship winner Besim Hot, and 2 Indian countrymates Nitin Jain and Tarun Goyal who were not fortunate to make through it.
