Keith Lehr takes down Poker Masters Event #3
The competition is heating up at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, where the prestigious 2018 Poker Masters is taking places. Several high-stakes tournaments will be played out during the series, where the top poker pros from around the world will battle it out to win big prize monies but more importantly, the Purple Jacket, for the one who finishes with most points at the end of the series.
David Peters won the opening event of the series, while Brandon Adams took down the second tournament, as the focus turned towards Event #3: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha. This was the only Omaha event in the 2018 Poker Masters schedule and it attracted a total field of 37 entries.
Keith Lehr, a 54-year old Los Angeles native, is a known Omaha cash game and tournament player. He topped this field in Vegas to take down the title and win $330,000 in prize money, along with 300 points towards the Purple Jacket, where he is already tied for second despite this being his first cash of the series.
The player also has a WSOP gold bracelet and this latest win has taken his career live winnings past the $3 million mark. The biggest success story on the Final Table however, was Brandon Adams, who has made the FT for the third time in three tournaments so far, consolidating his lead in the Purple Jacket race, with 510 points over the next best's 300.
