Kiran Nair ships The Endeavour on PokerBaazi
PokerBaazi, as you may already know, is one of India's best poker websites, one that hosts regular featured tournaments throughout the week. With their latest user interface and the Baazi Rewards System, quite a few players are enjoying playing poker on their platform, also redeeming gifts while they do so.
The Endeavour INR 10 lakh GTD is one of their most popular tournaments, scheduled for every Tuesday at 8pm. The tournament took place again yesterday, after Ankur Aryan aka 'enigma89' won it last week. Yesterday's tournament had a buy-in of INR 3,850 and a total of 359 entries joined, taking the prize pool up to a massive INR 12,56,500.
This was shared among the top 39 places, with a min-cash of INR 9,423. However, beating the field and taking home the biggest pay-out from them all was Kiran Nair aka '4betScarface', who won INR 2,41,876 from this prize pool. He has been around the poker circuit since a while now, and this would've been a useful addition to his bankroll.
He beat several regulars on the final table, with 'Yoda' becoming his final victim, who took home INR 1,79,051 for finishing second. Also on the final table was Pranav Bang aka 'pranav.bang1' who finished 5th, having shipped The Summit on Pokerbaazi just a few days back. Akshay Nasa aka 'sherlock52' was another known player on the FT, ultimately finishing 6th.
Gutshot caught up with Nair after he shipped this tournament. He said, "It was a surreal experience! This was my first big ship on PokerBaazi. At one point I was 142/146 with a 9 BB stack. However, I always had the belief that I can fight back from any stage. So, it feels amazing to come back and ship the tourney!"
