'kutts' leads Battlefield Day 1C on Spartan

Battlefield INR 1 Crore GTD was recently launched on Spartan Poker with a multi-day format and a buy-in of INR 5,500. The specialty of this tournament is that you can take multiple stacks into Day 2 which means if you play in Day 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D and qualify in all, you take four stacks into Day 2, of course, increasing your chances of winning.

Three days since the beginning of the tournament and last night was Day 1C which also received a similar response as the first couple of flights - 389 entries! Here, the same fixed amount of 25 levels had to be played before play was halted, ended at 12:06am after four and a half hours of grinding.

The first couple of flights saw 54 survivors (24+30) and yesterday, another 26 survivors bagged chips to return on Day 2 on 19th May, taking the total count to 80 players with one flight still to be played. There were quite a few known names in contention but only a few of them survived the day, including 'kutts' who ended as chip leader with a stack of 377,980.

The player preferred to stay anonymous, but he would probably reveal his identity once he ships Battlefield. Apart from kutts, some of the known players who progressed from 1C are Pulkit Goyal (24th), Kanishka Samant (20th), Vineet Kumar (19th), Siddarth Singhvi (17th), Sahil Mahboobani (16th), Nishant Sharma (11th), Arjanveer Chadha (4th), Sajjan Barnwal (3rd) and Vinod Megalmani who has the second largest stack of 286k.

All of these players will be looking to play in 1D tonight as well and take multiple stacks into Day 2. At any point during the tournament two stacks of a single player end up on the same table, those stacks will be merged.
