Little One for One Drop: 6 Indians progress to Day 3

A total of 6,246 entries registered to Event #75: $1,111 Little One for One Drop and from them, 937 were to be paid a min-cash of $1,500. The bubble burst during the seventh level of play today on Day 2 and when the tournament director called time on today's play, we were left with just the final 412 runners.

At the top of the chip counts is USA's Shaun Deeb who has won 4 gold bracelets in the past including two bracelets in WSOP 2018 itself, winning the $25k PLO Highroller soon followed by the $10k 6-handed Championship three weeks later. The pro has nearly $7 million in live cashes and we won't be surprised if he goes on to get his 5th bracelet.

As for Team India, there were 24 of our pros at the start of this day, with Rahul Byrraju in the lead among Indian players. The Indian contingent was narrowed down to only 6 players and Byrraju maintained the highest stack with 937k chips. He is closely followed by Ashish Ahuja (826k) and Madhav Gupta (810k).

Ahuja is on his debut trip to the World Series and he has enjoyed a fantastic summer there so far, with 8 cashes already in WSOP 2019. He progressed to Day 3 here after initially starting Day 2 with a short stack of just 37,300, and this isn't the first time he's made such a fantastic turnaround in Las Vegas. The other Indians to progress were Vivek Rughani (509k), Aditya Systla (411k) and Sanjay Sharma (180k). Those who finished in the money were Kunal Punjwani - 468th for $2,400 and Raghav Bansal - 671st for $1,692.

Day 2 top 10 chip counts:

  1. Shaun Deeb - 2,892,000
  2. Matt Souza - 2,366,000
