Phil Hellmuth will host Tiger Woods’ 8th annual poker night
Tiger Woods, the ace golfer, has decided to host an exclusive poker night for charity. The event is called Tiger’s Poker Night and will be presented by World Poker Tour (WPT). The event will see the light of the day on Friday, 24th May 2019. And the recent development is that poker legend Phil Hellmuth will act as the master of ceremonies for the night.
Hellmuth, often known as the ‘Poker Brat’ among poker aficionados, is a 15-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner and, also a good analyst of WPT Raw Deal, a show broadcasted on mainstream television.
The Night will be one of the events in Tiger Jam, which is hosted every year. The Jam is known to provide guests with the ultimate Vegas weekend, with non-stop entertainment which 2 gold outings at Shadow Creek Golf Course, an exclusive dinner and reception, premium silent and live auctions, access to VIP seats at a Vegas concert, all for charity.
The Night will also see WPT Commentator Vince Van Patten and Anchor Lynn Gilmartin alongside Hellmuth, Woods and other world-famous poker celebrities. The proceeds from all these events will be going to TGR Foundation which claims to ‘empower students to pursue their passions through education.’
Last night, the attendees included investor Mark Cuban, NBA star Chris Paul, rock celebrity Kid Rock, actor Mekhi Phifer, WPT Host Mike Sexton, and pros Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu and Dan Shak. Here are some of the photos 2018 Tiger’s Poker Night:
