Adda52 is one of the most respected brands in the Indian online poker industry. The website hosts various tournaments every day of the week, with some of their feature tournaments and series having very high guarantees. They also host the Go Goa monthly series on their website, which has been popular among the online poker grinders.

The Go Goa tournament series is one of Adda52’s initiatives which takes place every Tuesday using the 9-max format. In the month of November, there are four scheduled Go Goa tourneys, having a guaranteed prize pool of INR 5 Lakhs for each one.The winner and runners-up from all four events will get a chance to play in the 8-max Sit ‘N Go (SNG) on Adda52 on 9th Dec 2018.

The victorious player emerging from this ultimate event will win an INR 1.2 Lakhs package to Goa, which includes INR 1 Lakh in buy-ins in the prestigious Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT), to be held tentatively in February 2019, and travel and stay worth INR 20K.

The last Go Goa tournament of the series was held yesterday, starting at 8pm on Adda52. The event had a buy-in of INR 2,750 and attracted a good field. Top 17 players were paid, with minimum cash prize of INR 7,500. The player to emerge as the champion was Pranav Bang, who took home a sizeable INR 1,35,000 as 1st place cash prize. He, along with the runners-up ‘pichupuduven’, who cashed out INR 85,000 in this one, will be two of the 8 players who’ll play for the Goa trip on 9th December in the 8-max SNG.

Pranav is not new to shipping tournaments. He won The Summit on PokerBaazi in September this year, taking home upwards of INR 3.27 Lakhs in cash. Here’s hoping he wins a lot more in future tournaments after adding this significant amount to his bankroll.

There were other notable pros in the mix too. The Gayle Storm 3.0 winner Sanish Chhabra aka ‘sanish21’ finished 3rd, cashing out INR 62,500. At 5th place was Sriharsha Doddapaneni aka ‘ivey2’ with INR 33,750. Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ also cashed in the tournament at 15th.

Bang is a familiar surname in the Indian online scene. Pranav’s brother is the online player Srihari Bang. Srihari has also won a lot of online tourneys in the recent past, one of them being the Triple Bubble title on The Spartan Poker.
