A typical Sunday on PokerStars India is a big affair. They host the Sunday Special, which is a Progressive Knock Out (PKO) tournament that has gained wide acclaim and popularity throughout its run till now. The Sunday Special PKO INR 20 Lakhs GTD began at 7 pm this Sunday, 17th February.

The tournament was in the books after a long haul of more than 6 hours (ending at 3.19 am). It attracted a total of 345 entries (including 147 re-entries) for a buy-in of INR 5,500. Out of the buy-in, INR 2,500 was the starting bounty on every player’s head, and each elimination resulted in INR 1,250 added to the player’s cash and the remaining part was added to their head.

Many action-packed knockouts and eliminations later, the winner emerged to be well-known community entity Pranav Bang. Bang’s victory didn’t come easy as the Final Table itself had the likes of Pranav Khandalkar aka ‘pkpok13’, Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘inaboobham’ and Shravan Chhabria aka ‘lukBo$$13’ in the mix. Ultimately though, Bang beat them all, showcasing some good poker by doing so.
