The India Poker Series (TIPS) currently underway at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, the Czech Republic hosting season 3. With an end to both Spanish Cup and SPF High Roller so far we have observed healthy Indian participation and it was yesterday that Nitin Jain seized his first-ever live title after emerging victoriously in TIPS Super High Roller (SHR) pocketing a handsome €18,165 (~INR 14.22 Lakhs)!

The entire tournament saw 91 runners further creating a prize pool of €77,805 which was later distributed among the top 11 places for a min-cash of €1,945. The Indian trio Kanishka Samant, Allen Arun Bansode and Nitin Jain progressed from Day 1 with Samant 8th in the chips. Day 2 saw another Indian name on the list, Himanshu Dewan.

Dewan who gradually busted in the 20th position when his pair of King failed to dominate his opponent’s straight. Next in line was Samant who was railed out in 10th position earning €1,945 (~INR 1.52 Lakhs). Eventually, with hours of grinding, Antifragil settled in the fourth position and the final three players struck a deal and that’s when Jain’s chip stack earned him his first title while Florin Braun finished in the second place for €14,401 and José Carlos in the third position for €14,000.
