Tuesday Roundup: Akash Shekhar wins Endeavour on PokerBaazi

Tuesday night in the online poker arena was no different! Players came in huge numbers to grab the bundle of prize money. Yesterday was lit with leading players in the online felts taking their seats on Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, PokerStars, Adda52 and 9stacks, and by now the country knows the huge guarantees they come up with. Spartan Poker hosts Mega Stack INR 20 Lakhs GTD each Tuesday at 8 pm sharp. The growing popularity of the tournament never fails to break the guarantee. So was yesterday night, attracting a huge field of 705 entries for a buy-in of INR 3,300. The top finishers walked away with a portion of the higher prize pool of INR 21 Lakhs and ‘Hit ‘Em Up’, an anonymous but a frequent face on Spartan took away the incredible prize money after defeating SVS Main Event winner ‘chitti3.0’ in heads-up.

Eventually, both players put their entire stack in the middle and the board ran 9s Kd 6s 8h 6h. Ending the tournament right there, ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ flipped his full house 99966 over his opponent’s two pairs of Kings and Nines, eliminating ‘chitti3.0’ in the runner-up position.

The Endeavour

PokerBaazi hosted The Endeavour INR 15 Lakhs GTD which was a 7 hours long affair. Once again attracting a pretty good field for a buy-in of INR 3,850 and the top finishers being in the money. The standout performance was given by the well-known online grinder Akash Shekhar aka ‘nikita69QQ’ beating Shashank Desai aka ‘indianrat’ in heads-up for INR 3,01,500 prize money. However, Desai secured INR 2,11,350 for the runner-up position.

Last night’s Hitman INR 7.5 Lakhs GTD on Adda52, a bounty tournament which means additional cash prizes! The buy-in to this Tuesday fever was INR 4,500 smashing the guarantee to draw a bigger prize pool. The lion’s portion of the same was taken away by the well-known online crusher Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘badtameez_donk’, shipping the tournament for INR 2,11,328 along with 5 bounties that came on his way. The champion defeated ‘Keepwalkin007’ in heads-up and the runner-up managed to grab INR 1,25,984.

The buy-in to the tournament was INR 3,000 observing a decent field. The event closed with a 2-way deal and Sengupta’s larger stack secured him the first-place position railing out his opponent ‘GreenSTUFF79’ for INR 1,28,430.

StackUp

9stacks hosts StackUp INR 2.5 Lakhs GTD at 7:59 pm sharp. Yesterday pulled a total of 114 entries with each equally paying a buy-in of INR 1,650. To win this tournament Satyam Gupta aka 'noobAf powered through the field and claimed the first-place prize money of INR 65,000. The anonymous player beat Ashok Choudhary aka 'Think_Tank’ who settled for the runner-up position by adding INR 45,000 into his bankroll.
