Each day enticing a greater number of low/mid-stakes players, the Spartan Value Series (SVS) is currently underway on Spartan Poker and this time adding a little more spice, the series will host varying tournaments promising INR 91 Lakhs GTD! Yesterday another set of four events were lined up, crowning four worthy winners and here is a complete summary of SVS Day 2

SVS Event #6 INR 60k GTD

The first tournament on Day 2 rolled in 366 enthusiasts, each one of whom paid INR 110 buy-in. The smaller chunk of the prize pool was seen to be taken away by the top 20 places but the lion’s share of the same was locked by Vaibhav Lohia aka ‘CharlieOnTilt’ who took away the winner’s prize money.

In level 29, 3 players enter, ‘Rb21’ had 105 chips and went all-in placing his small blind followed by ‘vaibhavkash’ with 538k chips and Lohia with a stack of over 1 million. The tournament ended with a two-way deal and Lohia with his larger stack captured the first-place prize money of INR 8,692.

Gutshot caught up with the winner who expressed, "I have been playing on Spartan since its inception and never miss out on such series and events. It was a good tournament overall with a decent field. I was maintaining the chip lead for quite some time and was among the top 5 stacks throughout. I am really overwhelmed to ship one yesterday and looking forward to the main event."

SVS Event #7 INR 45k GTD

The buy-in increased to become INR 330 which pulled out a bunch of 132 players. Only 11 hopefuls managed to finish in the money for a min-cash of INR 1,125. The player to emerge victoriously was ‘one of A kind’ who railed out ‘Kingtut’ in heads-up to bag INR 12,375 prize money. The tournament halted after ‘Kingtut’ holding pairs of Tens and Fives couldn’t dominate ‘one of A kind’s higher two pairs of Tens and Sixes, thus taking away the title!

SVS Event #8 INR 25k GTD

Both buy-in and guarantee slipped to become INR 165 and INR 25k GTD, respectively which attracted a total number of 153 players. Eventually, the prize pool was seen to be shared among the top 13 places for a min-cash of INR 512. The third tournament saw ‘denb’ topping the list after the players struck a three-way deal and with his largest stack of 540k was made the official winner of the tournament. Following the heels of the champion was ‘DILATORY’ in the second position and in the third-place rested ‘neeru786’.
