After three starting flights and a little bit of Day 2, it was officially announced that the 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event became the second largest of all time with respect to number of entries (8,569), second to the WSOP 2006 ME. Today, Day 3 was played out at Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino and by the end of the day, 1,286 of these players are still in contention of winning the championship.

Day 4 will resume tomorrow at noon local time and all of the players are guaranteed at least $15,000 in prize money, with play halting when the bubble burst. The Amazon and Pavilion Rooms will host Day 4 and the player to start the day with the biggest stack of 2,184,000 will be Norway's Preben Stokkan.

“I started the day with 93,000, I had a pretty good start, I was up to like 180,000 pretty early in the first level. But I blew it all on a huge bluff, but I saved myself one chip. I almost went all-in but he over shoved, and I folded. So, I had 5,000 left on the first break and spun it up from there," said the chip leader, who was down to just a single chip during the day.

Going into Day 4 is a total of 10 Indian players, from the original of field of 15 Indians who began Day 3.
