WSOPE: Dash Dudley takes down Event #2 PLO
The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) kicked off a few days ago in King’s Casino and the gold bracelet has already been received by the Event #1 Opener winner. With various tournaments running simultaneously, one must not miss out on yesterday’s champion, Dash Dudley emerging victoriously in €550 Pot-Limit Omaha and claiming his hard-earned second bracelet along with €51,600 in prize money.
The entire tournament saw a field of 467 entries, each paying €550 buy-in, which was further narrowed down to the final 6 players resuming in the showdown. The final players were chasing their first-ever gold bracelet while Dudley and Ivo Donev were hoping for their second one. The final day saw Day 2 chip leader Denis Drobina finishing 3rd and taking home €21,825.
Dudley entered the final table with 4th in chips and battled his way. He doubled quickly playing against Denis Drobina and topped the list when only 3 players were left. Drobina was eliminated by Christopher Back who shoved his flush and settled for €21,825. Dudley took the lead after taking down few pots during the heads-up and finished the level celebrating his second bracelet win.

Event #4 €250,000 Super High Roller
The most expensive high roller tournament of the 2019 WSOPE saw only 7 survivors on Day 2 of the Event #4 Super High Roller. Gathering the largest stack was 4-times bracelet winner Dominik Nitsche progressing to the final day in search of a gold bracelet. Nitsche bagged an impressive 42,500,000 chips followed by Taiwan’s James Chen bagging 13,100,000 chips.

With a buy-in of €2,500, a total number of 71 players entered Day 1 of €2,500 8-Game Mix. Topping this field was 4-times bracelet winner Jeff Madsen headlining the day after amassing 336,500 chips followed by Victor Blom with 302,000 chips. As the event progressed, the field was narrowed down to 26 players to resume on Day 2.
Other notable players include 4-time bracelet winner, Eli Elezra with 252,000 chips, 15-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth bagging 145,000 chips, 6-times bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu with 84,500 chips, 6-time bracelet winner Jeff Lisandro bagging 44,500 chips, made their way through to the final day.
