$1 million 888poker LIVE Festival to begin in Barcelona

Throughout the year, the top poker companies host live tournaments with varying buy-ins that attract players from all walks of life. While the partypoker LIVE and PokerStars LIVE tournaments are well known and create record-breaking guarantees every once in a while, 888poker isn’t too far behind either.

The Gibraltar-based company is just a day away from the start of its latest live tournament series, this time in the beautiful and vibrant city of Barcelona. The 888poker LIVE Barcelona series is scheduled to take place between 24 May and 4 June 2018, in Casino Barcelona.

Over 20 events will take place during this period, the highlight of which will be the €500,000 Main Event, which will have a buy-in of €1,100. By the time the festivities have concluded in Barcelona, a total of over $1 million will be given out in guaranteed cash prizes, with buy-ins starting at just €50. Get the full schedule here.

The series will begin with the 888poker LIVE Barcelona Opening Event, a tournament that features a €220 buy-in and a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool. Satellites to the series are available on the 888poker website starting at €0.01. Poker pros from around the world are expected to be a part of the action in Casino Barcelona.

888poker brand ambassadors that have confirmed their participation in Barcelona include Martin Jacobson and Sofia Lövgren, who were a part of the recently concluded Poker Sports League Season 2 in Goa, while the likes of Natalie Hof, Vivian Saliba, and Chris Moorman will also be taking part.
