2018 WSOP Europe schedule announced

The Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is buzzing with excitement as the 2018 World Series of Poker is on in full swing, with 78 gold bracelet events scheduled and quite a few new winners being crowned since it began a couple of weeks back. Now, the schedule for the 2018 WSOP Europe has also been released.

The WSOP Europe will take place between 9 October and 2 November 2018 at the Kings Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. A total of 10 gold bracelet events have been scheduled to take place in this time and millions of euros are up for grabs in the second edition of this tournament series at this venue.

Since 2013, the WSOPE has been an event that takes place once in every two years but after seeing the high numbers participating in the 2017 series, they have changed this to a yearly event. The event in 2017 saw a total of 7,689 entries and over €25 million given away in prize money.

WSOP has now signed a multi-year agreement with King’s Casino, with no end date specified. “King’s Casino does everything big and first class, so we can’t wait to return to Rozvadov for the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe. With €13 million in guarantees on bracelet events, plus a phenomenal cash game scene, we highly recommend you make plans to join us this fall in Europe’s best-kept poker secret.” said Ty Stewart, WSOP executive director.

The highlights of the series will be the €5 million GTD Main Event and the €5 million GTD High Roller, to go along with €3 million GTD in other side events during the series. King’s Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik also commented on the partnership, saying, “It was a dream to host WSOP Europe and I can’t wait to do it again. We hope everyone who came last year comes back for our warm hospitality and generous offerings, and for those who missed out, please join us for Europe’s biggest poker event of the year.”
