Abhinav Iyer wins Paycheck on Adda52

Being one of India’s top poker companies, Adda52 regularly hosts some of the best online poker tournaments, one being the Paycheck tournament. This tournament is hosted every once in a while, on their platform, and it attracts some of the best pros around the circuit. Last night, another edition of this tournament was contested on Adda52.

Players waited for this tournament for weeks and it finally kicked off last night at 7:30pm, giving tough competition to the top tournaments on other websites that took place at the same time. On Spartan, Anirban Das won the Destiny while ‘iphone7s’ shipped The Vegas on PokerBaazi.

Last night, a massive field registered to the tournament and it was only in the early hours of today morning that a winner was declared. It was Abhinav Iyer aka ‘checkshove’ who took down the tournament, beating many other Indian pros and claiming the title for a Paycheck of INR 4,90,000. He beat Wilson Yomso aka ‘Kaling’ in heads-up, who settled for the runners-up prize of INR 2,67,258.

In the build-up, Adda52 also gave away plenty of seats to the tournament in various satellites and promotional contests. We’re expecting the same for their Gayle Storm 2.0 tournament, which will take place on 7th October and will have a massive guarantee of INR 75 lakh.
