Amarjeet Singh wins the Destiny 12.0 SnG Finale

Sunday was a busy day in the virtual felts, while on one hand, Spartan Poker was hosting January edition’s The Millionaire Lite and on the other, it was also the ultimate day for Destiny 12.0 SnG Finalists! The poker enthusiasts are well-aware by the format of Destiny by now. Let’s rewind once again, the most popular and the longest-running online tournament, Destiny puts down an incredible opportunity for the players to win a travel package worth INR 10 Lakhs to Las Vegas!

It was a night to relish and a terrific Sunday for the newest winner Amarjeet Singh, the ultimate titleholder of the 12th edition of Destiny on Spartan. The platform lined up 10 tournaments every week and each of these 10 winners took their seat in the SnG Finale which kicked off at 8 pm yesterday. The first 3 places were assured the travel packages

Playing under the username ‘superchor89’, Amarjeet has welcomed the new year with immense success. It was on 11th December that the champion took down SSS Destiny INR 35 Lakhs which assured him the seat to the showdown.

Unquestionably, the SnG Finale saw a tough field of competitors that ran for over 3 hours some of the best-known players in the industry including Ashish Kaushik aka ‘mmonas’ (10th), Anant Purohit aka ‘Pro’ (9th), Pranav Anand aka ‘mithrandir16’ (8th) , Shaan Kalwani aka ‘shaankalwani’ (7th), Chirag Sodha aka ‘chilling’ (6th), Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ (5th), ‘propernit’ (4th) dropped out before the formation of top 3.

The Vegas package only belonged to the top 3 winners and Singh won the Business class ticket along with 12 nights of stay in Vegas worth INR 370k. His closest competitor Nadeem Basha aka ‘blindgame’ also won a Business class ticket but with a slightly lesser stay of 8 nights and the package is worth INR 330K. The third winner is an anonymous but well-known in poker circuit ‘Tonkaaa’ who won 5-night in Vegas for INR 300k.

Gutshot caught up with the winner, Singh who said, “It has been an unbelievable run for me lately. It is true that hard work pays off! I am overwhelmed and extremely elated by winning this title, as the field was packed with the best players in the industry.”
