‘Amit28091992’ wins Destiny tournament on Spartan


Every day of the week, you can find high guarantee featured contests on The Spartan Poker, which is a leading poker company in India. It was a well-fought tournament between 392 entries that registered to this high-value INR 5,500 buy-in tournament. The top 30 players were paid out a minimum cash prize of INR 14,000 and quite a few regular online pros were a part of the final table. Kunal Bhatia aka ‘Alex 52’ shipped the Sunday SuperStack last Sunday and he finished in 4th place here, for INR 1,40,000. ‘Soona Paana’ made a good run in the recent Two of a Kind tournament and he finished 5th here, for INR 1,10,000 as well.

The blinds were running at 32,500/65,000 – 6,500 when the tournament finally ended in Level #59 and amit28091992 beat ‘kunal’ in heads-up. amit28091992 held K-8 and kunal held K-10, with both players hitting a pair of Kings on the flop. The board rolled out 2-8-K-2-4 and both went all-in on the river, as amit28091992’s Kings and Eights beat kunal’s Kings and Deuces. He won the pot, the Destiny title and a chance to play live poker in Europe. The winner was unavailable to comment on this big win.
