Chen An Lin is 2018 Macau Millions Champion

The 2018 Macau Millions ran between 17th and 23rd April and 33-year old Chen An Lin from Taiwan was crowned the Main Event Champion, taking home the title, trophy and HKD 1,159,000 for first place, to go along with a PSPC Platinum Pass worth $30,000.

“This is the first time I’ve managed to final table this event. I think the trophy means more to me than the Platinum Pass, just because this is the first Main Event title I’ve ever won, I’ve bubbled three main event final tables, so this is a special moment for me,” said Lin, immediately after his victory, which also became his highest ever live poker score.

Lin came into the final table, with the second highest chip stack but being the most experienced player on the table. One of India’s top pros Aditya Sushant was also on that final table. His good run eventually came to an end with Lin executing a double elimination, sending Sushant and Max Menzel to the rail. The Indian WSOP bracelet winner took home HKD 276,000 (~INR 23.36 lakh) for fifth place. Lin took a little over 4 hours to eliminate everyone else on the table and take home the million-dollar prize.
