Deepak Singh claims Goa Goa title on Adda52

Go Goa on Adda52? Want to know what this is all about? Well, simply put, it gives you a chance to go to Goa and play at the upcoming World Poker Tour (WPT) India series. This brand-new tournament on Adda52 may well be a temporary one, wherein the top 2 winners every Tuesday night win a seat to the 8-max SNG Finale on 8th Nov 2018.

The winner of that SnG will take away the top prize of an INR 1.2 lakh package trip to WPT India, which includes the buy-in to three major tournaments as well as the accommodation and travelling. So basically, with a buy-in of just INR 2,750, you can win not just a trip to Goa, but probably win bigger there and multiply your earnings.

The tournament kicked off last night at 8pm on Adda52 and 203 registered entries saw the guarantee being slightly passed and the prize pool being taken up to INR 5.07 lakh. It was a tough grind that saw many Adda52 regulars and even pros in the mix, but Deepak Singh aka ‘Peacelover’ turned out to be unbeatable on the night.

Singh outlasted everyone to take down the top prize of INR 1,52,250, out of which a small portion will be deducted towards an entry to the SnG. In heads-up, he beat ‘sumit4game’ who collected INR 96,425 and will also be making his way to the Goa Finale SnG. Overall, 12 places were paid out a minimum cash of INR 8,881.

Adda52 Team Pro Kunal Patni aka ‘KunalPatni’ also finished in the money in 7th place, while Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘badtaneez_donk’ finished in 6th place. The winner on the other hand, would’ve be delighted when the grind finally ended at 1:37am, following up his Judwaa victory on Adda52 just last month.

Gutshot congratulated him on this victory and asked him about the experience. He said, “Thanks. It just feels great. All I wanted to do was be consistent, and it’s happening now. Shipping a tournament always feels special, irrespective of the prize pool on offer. I’d also like to congratulate Arjun (Agrawal) on his good run (5th place).”
