Kavish Kukreja wins final edition of Ace Race Leaderboard

The Ace Race Leaderboards on Adda52 were turning out to be extremely popular ones, with three installments being hosted every month and a total of INR 15 lakh being given away in guaranteed prizes. Players loved the format as it meant consistency for just ten days, as sometimes you may miss a couple of days in long, monthly leaderboards.

However, Ace Race 3 Leaderboard of November turned out to be the final edition of this promotion, with Adda52 deciding to put it to rest and starting a new leaderboard competition to replace it. The final edition, however, was topped by none other than Kavish Kukreja who plays on Adda52 as ‘narcoss’, taking away an addition cash prize of INR 2 lakh.

Each edition of the Ace Race had INR 5 lakh to be won in prizes for the top 9 most consistent players in Adda52 featured tournaments, and this time it was Kukreja. He cashed regularly during the period from 21-30th November and the main reason for him topping the leaderboard would’ve been his Godfather victory on the night of 22nd November.

Once he shipped that tournament, he would’ve believed that the leaderboard victory was also possible, winning quite comfortably eventually. Leaderboard competitions are the real test for poker players, as it rules out all the luck factors involved in this game. If you have to win, you must perform consistently and that’s exactly what Kukreja did. Gutshot caught up with the player to congratulate him for winning this leaderboard. He said, “Thank you. It was a grind as I played 8 days out of the 10 days for the leaderboard. It feels awesome as this was my first leaderboard victory on Adda52.”

Soon after the Ace Race 3 result however, Adda52 announced the Showdown Leaderboards, which will run through the month i.e. 1-31 December in this case. It will be divided into Heavyweight (INR 10 lakh) and Lightweight (INR 5 lakh) Leaderboards. The Heavyweight will be for tournaments with a buy-in of INR 2,000 and above, while the Lightweight will be for tournaments with buy-ins ranging between INR 500 and 1,999.
