Monday Roundup: Abhinav Iyer bags consecutive titles!

Coming out on top was Gaurav Gupta aka ‘VantaBlack’ who defeated ‘dorasingh’ in heads-up to secure the first-place prize money along with the winner’s title.

Boosting his bankrol was circuit popular Chirag Sodha aka ‘chilling’ took home the first-place cash prize after beating Nisha Sareen aka ‘Nisha123’ in heads-up.

The Bout

Abhinav Iyer aka ‘griezmann’ rode past the field and secured the first position in PokerBaaz The Bout INR 10 Lakhs GTD last night. The battle began at 8 pm and continued until 4:17 am and that’s when Iyer grabbed his second title after already taking down Big Slick on Adda52. The tournament was gathered by 631 entries out of which only 72 took home a share from INR 15.77 Lakhs prize pool. Iyer secured INR 2.98 Lakhs in cash prize while his opponent Akshay Kapoor earned INR 2.09 Lakhs for finishing in the second position.

Inception

Adda52 Monday marquee Inception INR 10 Lakhs GTD saw a pretty good field enough to smash the advertised guarantee and create INR 16.70 Lakhs in prize pool. Outlasting the field was online grinder Kamal Naruka aka ‘ksn123’ who captured INR 4 Lakhs in prize money after knocking out Smita Agarwalla aka ‘coconik’ in heads-up who eventually settled in the runner-up position for INR 2.33 Lakhs.

Monday Hustle

PokerStars’ Monday Hustle INR 10 Lakhs GTD pulled out a total of 249 entries and each paid INR 4,400. After 8+ hours of intense grinding session, Sasi Kiran aka ‘sasikiranx’ topped the field and boosted his poker bankroll with INR 1.91 Lakhs in prize money. Kiran defeated ‘SamCigar999’ in heads-up who eventually ended up earning the runner-up amount of INR 1.41 Lakhs.
