Nikita Luther signs on as Spartan Poker Team Pro

India’s leading online poker site Spartan Poker has always been the trendsetter when it comes to cash game offerings and tournament series! Superwoman of India’s poker industry, one of the most recognized faces on the circuit and the sole Indian woman to bring home a coveted World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet, Nikita Luther is the latest name to associate with the brand. With that prestigious bracelet victory in the Tag Team Event in 2018, she made the country proud. Now, she signs on as a Team Pro for Spartan Poker.

With a strong academic record, the math nerd started off playing Zynga which further triggered her curiosity towards the game. “What attracted me to poker was also that it is a mathematical game that requires knowledge of complex strategy. In fact, the luck element is tiny and irrelevant in the long run,” she once said. A simple online game led to the poker pro creating history in 2018!

Luther has also earned the GPI Player of the Year title in the women’s category. She took home her first ever title in the 2015 IPC Ladies Event, won the 2019 DPT Deep Dive and also has a massive score for finishing runner-up in the WPT Aria in 2019, where she cashed for a career-best $109k (~INR 82.71L). Undoubtedly, Luther has prospered in the live poker arena over the years.

Well, that’s not it! In February, the talented professional player played in Spartan Poker’s IOPC Millionaire Legends where she was among the winners in a 5-way deal. Right after her webinar with world’s number one poker coach widely known as ‘Bencb’, Luther battled it out to finish second to Mahima Walia Das in Spartan Super Series (SSS) The Beast Highroller, racking up some big online scores too.

The exciting collaboration of two leading names in the industry will surely leave most of us thrilled, looking forward to greater opportunities. As a Spartan Pro, Luther will be acting as an expert poker player, representing the brand at all major tournaments.
