PokerBaazi returns with GameChanger 2.0 at half the price!

PokerBaazi is an online poker leader in India and earlier this year, they did something that is sure to revolutionize the poker industry in the country. They literally took the game to the next level by launching The GameChanger INR 2 Crore GTD which was the largest single online poker tournament in India, doubling the previous standard of INR 1 Crore guaranteed prize pools.

The tournament took place between 20-24 February and it received an overwhelming response with a total of 3,777 entries taking part and nearly doubling that guarantee as well, bringing up the prize pool to INR 3.77 Crore. No one in the industry forgets the moment when Bangalore’s Prashanth Sekar went on to emerge victorious after a 4-way deal on the FT of that historic tournament.

Now, the hunt begins for another champion as PokerBaazi has gone on to announce the second edition of the massive tournament, with GameChanger 2.0 scheduled between 21-25 August 2019. The multi-day format continues as players get a chance to qualify from 4 starting flights (3 regular and 1 turbo), beginning at 8pm each night and ending when the field has reduced to 10% of its original strength.

Day 2 resumes on 25th August with all survivors coming together to play down to a winner and all of them also in the money. When PokerBaazi took to social media to announce the return of this mega tournament, CEO Navkiran Singh promised they had one more surprise which would be revealed on 1st July.

The surprise was that the initial buy-in of INR 11,000 has been dropped to literally half the price, allowing players to compete for life-changing prizes at an entry fee of just INR 5,500. Once again, they managed to change the game with this announcement and the countdown will begin amidst players, with less than 2 months to go to this massive event. PokerBaazi launched a video with rapper Shah Rule to announce the same:
