Pokerbaazi to host first-ever 2020 National Poker Series!

Poker as a sport has always been welcomed by the country’s enthusiasts looking forward to showcasing their skills in live and online felts. The prominent platforms in the country, namely Adda52, Spartan Poker, and PokerBaazi warmly put down fantastic opportunities for the players making it even more interesting to provide them a bigger stage.

A fast-growing mind sport in India, poker is witnessing players pouncing on the tables currently. After putting a successful end to the Jan 2020 edition of Baazi Poker Tour (BPT) that went on from 8 till 14 January, PokerBaazi has announced the first-ever National Poker Series. The latest addition to the list aims to raise the level of Indian poker and is scheduled to take place between 29 April – 5 May 2020 intending to put these players on the world stage.

“NPS is a great platform for everyone to make it to the biggest stage and showcase their skills at the world stage. Going to be an exciting series with a great leaderboard reward,” says 2019 WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer.

Only one month to the new decade and the leading platforms have plenty of surprises. With quite a reasonable buy-in and massive prize pools to earn from, the series strives to elevate poker in the country. The 8-day long festival has something for everyone but the two names to top the leaderboard will win an all-expense-paid trip to Las Vegas, globally famous for its intense poker action and the vibrant poker capital of the world for 10 nights! Along with Main Event buy-in worth $10,000, the second place will also be awarded 10 nights in Vegas along with INR 2 Lakhs prize money.

Another WSOP bracelet champion Aditya Sushant commented saying, “Nothing matches the Vegas experience and it’s great that the National Poker Series is giving two players a chance to have that experience. The next level in Indian poker is here and I can’t wait to compete.”

One can win tickets to the National Poker Championship 2020 by participating in satellite tournaments. PokerBaazi is the official satellite partner of the NPS to organize the Sattys on its platform which will lie ahead of the main series.
