Robert Campbell Is CoinPoker’s Newest Ambassador!

The year 2019 ended quite well for the WSOP Player of the Year, Robert Campbell, following a glitch in the tabulation of scores that saw Daniel Negreanu initially declared as winner. Poker brands have made numerous updates since the beginning of the decade and a few days ago, the Australian pro became the latest brand ambassador of CoinPoker.com.

The world’s biggest cryptocurrency online poker room debuted in 2018. The platform supports Bitcoin and Ethereum also using its own cryptocurrency. Campbell will be following longtime poker players Tony G who serves as an advisor to CoinPoker and the Chief Community Manager Isabelle Mercier as representative of the brand.

Campbell will make his first appearance as the representative of the brand during the Bike Ride event called ‘Rob Campbell Bike Ride’ on 16 February. He will carry 0.25 BTC bounty and will replace Tony G who previously played in these events.

A former stand-up comedian, Campbell is currently the CEO of Dota2 gaming team Neon Esports. The deal features a tie-up with CoinPoker.com. He said, “I’m thrilled to be joining Tony G and Isabelle Mercier on the CoinPoker.com roster. I feel it is a good fit – I’m a big fan of the old school entertaining TV shows and mixed games as well being heavily involved in the e-sports space.”

The latest brand ambassador who is familiar with cryptocurrency noted upon the announcement of his sponsorship, saying, “CoinPoker is an attractive proposition which makes poker accessible, transparent and decentralized, and it is exciting that it allows you to play with BTC, ETH, or CHP. CoinPoker is not fully decentralized, only the RNG (random number generator) is. Players can impact the shuffle and verify it’s all fair. I’m also excited about the marketing crossover opportunities between CoinPoker and Neon Esports.”

Starting off his year by winning the Australian Poker Tour 8-Game Mix in Brisbane, Campbell won two bracelets in mixed events at the 2019 WSOP and reached five final tables. Accumulating total live earnings of over $1.36 million, he is recorded to have 27 WSOP flows of cash which account for $1.23 million of those earnings.
