Rozvadov’s The Big Wrap Festival is all in the books. The series ran between 1-8 April 2019 at King’s Casino in the Czech city. The highlighted Main Event of the series was called ‘The Big Wrap’ itself and was hosted for a buy-in of €2,350 between 5-8 April and drew in a total of 516 entries.
The prize pool of €1,078,440 (~INR 8.4 Crores) was chipped in collectively by the entrants and among these was India’s Jagdeep Singh. Singh, with a fairly good stack, progressed to the final day and even cashed at 20th place with ~INR 8.36 Lakhs as the pay-out.
Yesterday, the Final Table of the tournament was played. Spain’s Lautaro Guerra was already leading on the table and he nailed the title by finishing 1st, for a pay-check of €209,211 (~INR 8.39 Crores). He defeated a tough FT to claim this prize.
With this, Guerra earned his biggest ever live cash, according to Hendon Mob database. He had only 2 cashes previously, first from a local event and 2nd one at the 2017 WSOP Circuit ME in Italy. The Big Wrap series was conducted right after the WSOP Circuit at the same venue of King’s Casino where Martin Kabrhel won the Main Event and his 5th circuit ring.
While these series are done, there will are plenty of such series lined up to suit all kinds of players. Czech Poker Masters (14-22 April), partypoker Grand Prix (5-13 May) and the Grand Prix Million King’s Casino (20-24 June). The latter has a hefty guarantee of €1,103,500.
