Sunday Roundup: Jayjit Ray wins Mega Suits Finale on Adda52!


There seems to be no slowdown in poker action! The entire past week was jam-packed with incredible offers across the online felts with a number of series underway. PokerBaazi’s 10-day long festival, PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) eventually reached its end last night. On the other hand, Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) is back once again with INR 6 Crore GTD and Spartan Poker’s lowest buy-in Millionaire also crowned its worthy winner. And here is a complete summary of Sunday majors…

Millionaire Lite

A part of the Spartan Value Series (SVS), The Millionaire Lite INR 35 Lakhs GTD on Spartan Poker concluded last night at 3:02 am. A total of 2,472 runners entered the multi-flight after paying INR 1,650 as buy-in which was enough to cross the advertised guarantee and collect INR 37.08 Lakhs in prize pool. Bagging the March’s Millionaire Lite title was well-known circuit grinder Chirag Sodha aka ‘chilling’ who defeated ‘Boller’ in heads-up, pocketing a hefty prize money!

Sunday SuperStack

Sunday popular tourney on Spartan Poker was Sunday SuperStack INR 35 Lakhs GTD which commenced at 8 pm. Registering 686 entrants after paying INR 5,500 out of which 63 finishers who locked INR 15,225 as min-cash. Conquering the field was circuit reg Anish Patra aka ‘Illusionist’ who defeated Rishab Jain aka ‘rishabjain1983’ in heads-up to lift the first-place prize money.

PPL #57 BSS PLO

Event #57 of PPL on PokerBaazi was BSS PLO INR 10 Lakhs GTD which kicked off at 5:30 pm. INR 6,600 was the fixed buy-in which fetched a total of 229 entries. It was the latest 2020 IPC Kickoff championVinod Megalmani aka ‘figureitout’ who triumphed the competition after beating Anurag Srivastava aka ‘13anurag’ in heads-up to add INR 2.35 Lakhs in prize money while Srivastava settled with INR 1.65 Lakhs in the second place.

PPL #59 BSS SuperStack

The Sunday marquee tournament on PokerBaazi was BSS SuperStack INR 35 Lakhs GTD that commenced at its regular time at 8 pm. Powering through a massive field of 892 runners was Rohit Begwani aka ‘ChubbyGhost’ who defeated Rohan Soman aka ‘AnshAA’ in heads-up for a handsome INR 7.80 Lakhs in prize money.

PPL #58 The MoneyMaker

The major attraction of the entire PPL series was The MoneyMaker INR 1 Crore GTD that kicked off at 7 pm last night. A total of 1,076 entrants pounced on the field after paying INR 11,000 buy-in which eventually crossed the advertised guarantee out of which the top 126 places earned a share. However, the final table will be played live in Goa on 14 March at 6 pm and Sandeep Singh aka ‘PoKcey’ will lead the final 8 survivors. Singh amassed the largest stack of 33,32,755 and is followed by ‘Sammybigstac’ (29,45,651), Jai Saha aka ‘jksisme’ (25,61,350), ‘blastupidinside’ (22,02,442), Prashant Jain Bhutoria aka ‘prashant32’ (17,62,218), ‘bovada1111’ (10,21,792), Dinesh Kukreja aka ‘htc170209’ (887,966), Rony Chowdhury aka ‘bisadip176’ (869,436), Kunal Vaswani aka ‘pinguv’ (556,390).

AOPS Millions

The 10-day long AOPS festival began on 6 February in Adda52 and yesterday at 8 pm hosted AOPS Millions INR 35 Lakhs GTD. INR 11,000 was the buy-in which recorded a total of 342 entries out of which the top 35 finishers earned a share from the prize pool. It was circuit reg Gaurav Sood aka ‘gauravarod’ who topped the list and added an impressive INR 8.75 Lakhs in prize money to his bankroll. Sood defeated Ujjwal Narwal aka ‘fourteenk’ in heads-up who secured the second-place payout of INR 5.30 Lakhs.

Mega Suits Finale

The multi-flight tournament Mega Suits Finale INR 50 Lakhs GTD on Adda52 pulled out a pretty good field as the assured prize money was surpassed creating INR 59.49 Lakhs in the prize pool. Outlasting the field was Jayjit Ray aka ‘pokerminator’ who took down the competition to add a whopping INR 10.26 Lakhs in prize money after defeating Rohit Mishra aka ‘rohit22rm’ in heads-up who settled in the second position for INR 7.33 Lakhs, securing the second-place payout.

Sunday Special

PokerStars’ flagship tournament Sunday Special INR 15 Lakhs GTD was joined by 302 entrants after each paid INR 5,500. The tournament guarantee was surpassed to generate a slightly higher prize pool whose largest chunk was taken away by a prominent name in the industry, Raghav Bansal aka ‘OMGZ_ITS_RB’ who defeated Ashish Munot aka ‘chipcharity999’ for INR 1.24 Lakhs in prize money.

Sunday Kill PKO

9stacks’ (Signup code ‘GUTSHOT’Sunday Kill PKO INR 5 Lakhs GTD registered 271 entrants who paid INR 2,200 as buy-in. Out of this number, the top 30 finishers finished earning a share from the prize pool. Coming out on top was Anmolraj Singh Chawla aka ‘tottenham’ who eliminated Aravind Raju aka ‘BenDing_BuLLets’ in heads-up. Chawla captured INR 78,249 in prize money while Raju settled in the runner-up position for INR 53,836.
