Sunday Roundup: Sahil Agarwal wins INR 50L in AOPS Main Event!

It was a stupendous Sunday night that crowned tons of winners across the virtual felts! Among the biggest attractions was Spartan Poker’s SSS Millionaire X5 assuring INR 10L to the top 5 places. On the other hand, the 10-day long, Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) concluded with AOPS ME Finale INR 2 Crore GTD and Sahil Agarwal made his place among the biggest online poker winners. A part of the ongoing SSS on Spartan Poker, a major attraction of Sunday was event #26 Millionaire X5 – 1 million to top 5 that enrolled a massive field of 1,986 entrants to create a juicy prize pool of INR 99.30L which was shared among the top 200 places. The multi-flight tournament that ended with the Main Event at 1:36 am saw Day 1B chip leader Abhishek Gubba aka ‘PoeticInjustice’ conquering the field to grab the prestigious title and was followed by ‘FunkeyFox’ (2nd), Amit Sur aka ‘Immortal Killer’ (3rd), Vivek Rughani aka ‘Pokerbatman27’ (4th), ‘Yennnefer’ (5th) all ended up attaching the Millionaire title to their sleeves!

Running simultaneously with the Millionaire X5 on Spartan Poker was Sunday SuperStack INR 50 Lakhs GTD that garnered a total of 1,137 entries who paid INR 5,500. The guarantee was crushed to generate INR 56.85 Lakhs in prize pool and the top 111 players ended up earning a min-cash but the one to grab the largest share of the prize pool was online grinder Jayjit Ray aka ‘David Blaine’ who defeated ‘ztc3’ in heads-up to bag the winner’s title and an impressive cash prize.

Another tournament that caught the public attention on Spartan Poker was SSS #28 Big Daddy INR 12 Lakhs GTD that started off at 11 pm. Eventually, a total of 650 runners logged in after paying INR 2,200 and this was enough to create a bigger prize pool of INR 13 Lakhs. Capturing the winner’s title was circuit popular Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ who defeated Kunal Patni aka ‘TiltAtma’ aka in heads-up to grab the first-place prize money.

Topping the list was ‘oled’ who eliminated ‘bluffme19’ in heads-up for INR 5.63 Lakhs in prize money while his opponent settled for INR 3.31 Lakhs in the second position.

Coming out on top was online grinder Chirag Bhardwaj aka ‘mahikk’ who took home a handsome INR 10.63 Lakhs in prize money. Bhardwaj knocked out ‘pokraj’ in heads-up who settled in the second position for INR 6.25 Lakhs.

AOPS ME Finale

Among the biggest champions in the online felts now, Agarwal took down the multi-flight AOPS ME Finale INR 2 Crore GTD on Adda52 outlasting a massive field. The top 230 players ended up earning a min-cash from the final prize pool of INR 2.27 Crore. The winner railed out Avneesh Munjal aka ‘IamAM’ in heads-up who secured INR 28.28 Lakhs.
