The Big Stack collaborates with 9stacks

To elevate the standard of poker in the country, one of the gaming giants, 9stacks (Signup code ‘GUTSHOT’)has collaborated with India’s first-ever poker university The Big Stack. The country has truly come a long way in terms of poker as a sport and this partnership will help enthusiasts to acquire unique skills and eventually stand as a poker pro in the industry.

It was only last year that Big Stack launched its poker university, a training ground for upcoming poker players. This breeding ground will prepare the new learners on its eccentric platform holding an in-depth knowledge of the game. And as a part of the tie-up, 9stacks will provide a platform where poker students can try, test and polish their skills by grinding online.

Founder and CEO of The Big Stack, Rai Sahib Singh Khurana delighted by the partnership said, “Our association will certainly revolutionize the world of poker. This first of its kind collaboration will help elevate the standard of poker in the country and will also give a boost to our business. We believe India as a market, holds huge potential for poker to emerge as a mainstream sport and we are all geared up to reap the benefits of the huge opportunity hidden in the industry.”

This step towards providing a base to the Indian players who have the capability to excel the sport, all students on The Big Stack will get INR 2,500 to play for free on 9stacks. This will nurture their poker skills day by day. Also, across the 9stacks platform, there will be promotions by strategically placing ‘Learn’ and ‘Play’ links respectively. It will also offer INR 15000 to the students to enroll under personalized coaching package on The Big Stack.

CEO & Co-founder of 9stacks (Signup code ‘GUTSHOT’), Sudhir Kamath said, “We started 9stacks with the aim of taking poker to millions of new players across India. In the Big Stack Poker University, we’re glad to have found a partner who shares the same mindset. At present we will start with a few hundred enthusiastic new poker players, but we’re confident this will scale up manifold in the coming months and years. Further, by making the course entirely online and video-based with an added dash of testing and competition, I think they’ve cracked the code on designing an inherently scalable solution. I wish all the best to the Big Stack team in this much-needed endeavour.”

The Big Stack venture started by Khurana, Ritesh Tanu and Sunny Kochhar was to help improve India’s standing in the game across the globe by developing strategies to beat the competition, to help understand bankroll management and other key skills. Undoubtedly, the platform is rich with video content by some of the exceptional poker coaches in the country. And this collaboration will definitely enable the poker newbies to conquer the game!
