Another major attraction of the night on Spartan Poker was TGIF INR 10 Lakh GTD which drew 952 entries for a buy-in of INR 1,650. Once again, the displayed guarantee was surpassed creating INR 14.28 Lakh prize pool and the 87 players walked out with a share. Riding past the field to take down the event was Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ who bagged consecutive titles after winning Thursday feature on PokerStars. The champion defeated ‘levelupJC91’ in heads-up.
Friday flagship tourney of PokerBaazi The Ridge INR 10 Lakh GTD garnered a field of 342 runners taking their seat to hunt for the cash prize. The final prize pool of INR 10.26 Lakh was drawn and well-received by the top 45 places. Coming out top was Animesh Thakur aka ‘animeshth20’ who knocked out Srihari Bang aka ‘bangbang99’ in heads-up and claimed INR 2.15 Lakh in prize money while Bang secured the second place payout of INR 1.51 Lakh for his efforts.
Online grinder Shardul Parthasarathi aka ‘Vamos96’ rode past the field of The Ballers INR 17 Lakh GTD on Adda52 and seized the largest share of the INR 28.08 Lakh prize pool! The event attracted 410 entries and 43 top players earned a paycheck. Defeating ‘villain1122’ in heads-up Parthasarathi walked home with INR 6.96 Lakh in prize money while his opponent earned INR 4.21 Lakh.
Another attraction on Adda52 was Hexagram INR 3 Lakh GTD which pulled out 178 entries, surpassing the guarantee. At 3:37 am, online reg Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ emerged victorious after eliminating ‘Sickboy210’ in heads-up for INR 98,790 in prize money. However, the runner-up earned INR 59K.
With a buy-in of INR 4,400 a total of 308 hopefuls joined PokerStars’ Friday headlining tourney Uppercut Magic Edition INR 10 Lakh GTD. Generating INR 12.32 Lakh in prize pool, the top 59 places strolled out with a minimum cash of INR 3K. After intense grinding session, the last man standing was Rohan Soman aka ‘RSmincer’ who defeated Shrey Pandey aka ‘pandeyshrey33’ in heads-up and both players earned INR 94,032.
