Video: Jason Koon wins biggest ever pot of €2.1 Million

Nosebleed cash games are not new to the world of poker. Every year one hears about these massive games taking place all over the world and most of us had to live with heresay spread through word-of-mouth. But recent years have also brought technology and platforms like Twitch which poker players have especially taken to broadcasting their play and providing analyis of their own games and of others too.

It’s been a quite stunning few days of high stakes action at the ongoing Triton Super Highroller Series taking place in Balkan country of Montenegro in South Eest Europe. The brainchild of Malaysian businessman and high stakes player Richard Yong, the Triton series was set up in 2016 and features big buy-in tournament events along with some cash game action too… nosebleed action naturally. Yong had a good series winning the 6-max event a earlier in the week. Another of title winners was Jason Koon who claimed the Short Deck tournament title and it was this player who was coincidentally involved in both of these pots in the past couple of days.

Now there are serious heavyweights sitting at this cash game table which features a €1 Million buy-in and blinds of €2,000-4,000 and a running ante of €10,000. Two of the most well known faces in global poker and the high stakes in Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan were sitting in. The afore mentioned Koon along with Dan ‘Jungleman’ Cates, Paul Phua, Elton Tsang, Kane Kalas and the Triton Main Event winner Mikita Badziakouski were also in the mix.

Here’s the first of the two hands which went down between Koon and Kalas

And just when we thought that was the biggest pot in the history televised poker, this hand happened which has Koon involved once again for what is possibly the biggest pot ever televised. Even Joey Ingram who is providing his commentary on what went down, can’t quite believe what he just saw.

You can check out the entire 5 hour broadcast of this Million Euro cash game here.
