Sundays on PokerBaazi are super fun for poker players as the Baazi Super Sundays (BSS) promotion offers INR 25 lakh in guaranteed prizes in three different tournaments. One of these tournaments is the INR 5 lakh GTD BSS MegaStack tournament which takes place every Sunday at 8pm.
It’s one of the smaller tournaments of the BSS but it still is a very popular one, which saw a total of 175 entries (102 players + 73 re-entries) registering last night. The grind lasted nearly 5 hours as a winner was declared at 12:49am this morning, with Vivek Singh aka ‘Nutpeddling729’ taking away the top prize.
Only the top 17 players were paid out a part of the prize pool (min-cash INR 10,000) in this tournament, but Singh benefitted the most for winning the tournament, taking away the top prize of INR 1,20,000. He beat quite a few top players and was handsomely rewarded for doing so.
Singh seems to be having a good time in online poker at the moment, especially on PokerBaazi. Just a couple of nights back, he won The Summit on PokerBaazi, adding a massive amount of INR 2.84 lakh to his poker bankroll for topping the field and beating Guneet Kwatra aka ‘guntz’ in heads-up.
In last night’s tournament, he beat ‘Kudos0505’ in heads-up, and this player took home INR 85,000 for finishing second, making Singh the only player to win a 6-figure cash prize. Also finishing in the money were Sumit Sapra aka ‘boronyx’ and Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’, two guys who are almost always in the top pay-outs on PokerBaazi.
Gutshot caught up with Singh after another victory this week. He said, “I’m very happy shipping the 5L GTD on PokerBaazi. Every win keeps me more motivated to do well and focus on the grind.” Keep reading GutshotMagazine.com for regular updates on the top Indian poker tournaments.
