WSOP 2019: Kazuki Ikeuchi leads final 6 in Millionaire Maker

As the name suggests, Event #19: Millionaire Maker – $1,500 NLHE is a tournament that will make you a millionaire if you win it. However, you have to go through 8,809 entries if you want to win in at WSOP 2019. Currently, Day 4 of the tournament has come to an end and Japan’s Kazuki Ikeuchi has taken the chip lead, with only 6 players still in contention.

One thing we know for sure is that by the end of this tournament, we will have a first-time bracelet winner, as we have seen many times in the last couple of weeks since WSOP 2019 began. Along with Ikeuchi, five other players on the FT are Cory Albertson, Lokesh Garg, Joshua Thibodaux, John Gorsuch, and Vincas Tamasauskas; all of them have already ensured a new career-best live cash.

During the tournament, we had several Indian players making cashes and the two highest ranked from them were Ashish Ahuja – 133rd for $8,893 (~INR 6.17 Lakh) and Abhinav Iyer – 274th for $6,657 (~INR 4.62 Lakh), who were the highest ranked Indian players in their respective starting flights as well.

The final 6 players will return later today for Day 5 of the tournament and they will all be eyeing that massive first place prize of $1,344,930. Indian origin American player Lokesh Garg lost a huge chunk of his stack towards the end of the day but he’s still hanging in there, currently third in chips.

Day 4 chip counts:

  1. Kazuki Ikeuchi – 60,750,000
  2. Cory Albertson – 57,475,000
  3. Lokesh Garg – 28,800,000
  4. Joshua Thibodaux – 26,975,000
  5. John Gorsuch – 23,450,000
  6. Vincas Tamasauskas – 22,600,000
