This is the ninth of 85 gold bracelet events to be played out in the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online. The festival continued today by crowning Event #9: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Max champion, the 70-year-old Ron ‘MacDaddy15’ McMillen who earned his first bracelet and a top prize of $188K!
The 2020 July WSOP edition’s 9th bracelet event gathered a field of 1,026 entries, creating a mouthwatering prize pool of $947,700. The field once again saw Alan “GladiusIII” Goehring who won his first WSOP Bracelet yesterday in Event #8 but his hopes at back-to-back bracelet win ended. Some of the Indian origin players witnessed in the competition were Amit Makhija, Shankar ‘burgersssss’ Pillai, Vinny ‘brownmagic’ Pahuja, Balakrishna ‘pbkreddy’ Patur and so on.
The money bubble busted with the elimination of Ray ‘Raytrg’ Vilaman in 144th place and the remaining players went out with a paycheck. Among the notables to cash were Chris ‘Robotbob47’ Moorman (141st – $1,656), Alan ‘mossadshark’ Sternberg (109th – $1,754), Daniel ‘DNegs’ Negreanu (96th – $1,851), Tara ‘bertperton’ Cain (79th – $2,241), Nick ‘cashUSklay’ Schulman (43rd – $3,703), Anthony ‘heheh’ Zinno (22nd – $5,360), Aram ‘X69Podheiser’ Zobian (8th – $17,447) and so on.
In 6th place, Ian ‘apokerjoker2’ Steinman went out followed by ‘moodeez’ and Ruth ‘crazeelf666’ Ruffman. After ‘WillowG23’ bowed out in 3rd place, heads-up got underway between Ron ‘MacDaddy15’ McMillen (18 million chips) and ‘Im.Sorry’ (1 million chips). The latter went all-in in preflop and the former called.

Iowa’s Ron "MacDaddy15" McMillen had never played online poker before, but that didn’t stop him from winning tonight’s @WSOP Online Event 9: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max for $188,214.
