Actor Anil Kapoor plays rummy with family during lockdown!

Many of us who have been under quarantine have found new ways to have fun with friends and family. Veteran actor Anil Kapoor recently shared a session of rummy with his family as a story on Instagram. 

The actor recently posted on Instagram as he plays cards with his mother, wife and sister. Kapoor reveals that he does know how to hold the cards even after all these years. “Playing mum’s favourite card game… It’s rummy time! It’s been so many years and I still don’t know how to hold the cards right.” The actor’s wife Sunita Kapoor, too, shared the pictures from their game, she wrote “Family that plays rummy together stays together.” 

Kapoor has been making the most of the lockdown by spending quality time with family. A couple of days ago, he shared another Instagram post on celebrating his mother’s birthday, he wrote “Mothers always surprise us with their inner strength and selfless love they have for their children and as you become a parent yourself, you realise so much more.” He also mentioned that his mother has been like a rock for him and the family even in this lockdown. He further said “love you mum you are the best mummy in the world… Happy birthday.”

The lockdown initially put a halt on all shooting as a safety measure for actors/ actresses and crew members. However with lockdown slowly easing in the city, Kapoor will soon be seen sharing the frame with his son Harshavardhan in Abhinav Bindra biopic. Apart from this, Anil Kapoor also has Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ which features an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
